Small world. My sister knew Jenny (in the Perry the donkey article) years ago and she also took a class from my dad.
Bill McCartney, who coached the Colorado Buffaloes to a national championship (yea!) and founded the Promise Keepers, a men’s right-wing Christianist organization (boo!), has died, leaving behind 16 unclaimed points.
Soap actor Leslie Charleson (Dr. Monica Quartermaine on General Hospital) has died at 79.
I remember her from the Pearl Drops commercial. Leslie Charleson - Pearl Drops commercial
Oliveiro Toscani, photographer famous for his shocking pictures for Benetton ads, has died aged 82:

And that one is cruel: died in the fires because he could not run away due to cerebral palsy:
I was initially confused as to who this was because the article I saw showed him as he was now. He aged like milk and I didn’t recognize him. Probably best known to American audiences from the original Whose Line is it Anyway. He was in the Footlights at the same time as Fry, Laurie and Emma Thompson but never reached their heights.
Small relief it was a heart attack. He was very depressed and appeared in Stephen Fry’s documentary on depression and talked about suicidal thoughts.
I’m relieved that isn’t how it ended for him.
Sad, I did find him almost the funniest of the original Whose Line crew.
It seems like the media is itching to have someone famous die in California. For instance the article above calling Rory Skyes a TV star when it appears he was in a couple of episodes of a show in 1998.
Now there is this. In IDMB she has one credit in The Blues Brothers where she played the pivotal role of “Woman.” Seems like she did extra work from time to time. It doesn’t make the situation less tragic but shows that even in tragedy they are looking for clickbait. There are a couple dozen people who died but they were never in a movie.
Linda Nolan gives 35 points to several of us.
I finally get points for a person I’ve had on the list for years. I always seem to remove them on the year they die.

Same. I first had her on my list for 2019 and kept her for every year since.
British actor Christopher Benjamin passes at 90.
That hasn’t happened to me, but if it does, it will be this year. I dropped Andy Taylor of Duran Duran, Ronnie Atkins of Pretty Maids, and ex-NFLer Steve Gleason after having had them for years. None of them seemed to be in much of a hurry to die, so I figured I’d give them a year off. We’ll see how that works out.
Mark Discordia an accidental internet celebrity who got his fame courtesy of online troll and game critic/designer Seanbaby, passed away last October.
Here’s links to the Seanbaby stuff regarding Mr. Discordia (also available via the article above, NSFW language):
One of my favorite episodes.
The one with Tom Baker?
I once paid for my expenses at a sci fi convention by selling scarves like his. I got the pattern from an English newspaper. It’s all over the net now.
I vaguely remember seeing the original piece in Nintendo Power. When the Seanbaby incident brought him to light again, it clicked with me that perhaps the last name was a nod to some kind of persona. I guess not though. RIP, Mark.
