2025 SDMB Celebrity Death Pool

He’s no longer walkin’ round in women’s underwear

Never heard of her, but if she is relevant enough to be mentioned by the Independent and some Spanish on-line newspapers she is good enough to mention she has left 79 points unclaimed.

I don’t understand influencers or body builders, but they seem to be throwing a lot of points around lately. While I am still pointless. Ah, well…

Is that him? As a kid who was about 10-12 when that album was big, it meant a lot to us. We thought we were SO funny singing songs like that at Christmas.

I just read a news story on it. Damn. And only 68 years old. Cancer sucks.

Junior Bridgeman, a former NBA sixth man who rose from modest means to forge one of the most successful post-playing business careers of any professional athlete, becoming a billionaire philanthropist and, recently, a minority owner of the Milwaukee Bucks team for which he once played, died Tuesday after suffering a medical emergency during an event in Louisville, Kentucky.

Bridgeman was 71.

CNN

South Korean singer Wheesung has been found dead at his home in Seoul, CNN affiliate YTN reported on Monday.

Police are still investigating the cause of the 43-year-old’s death and have requested an autopsy from the National Forensic Service, according to YTN.

Stanley R. Jaffe, who became president of Paramount at 29, then left after just a few years to become an Oscar-winning producer of films like “Kramer vs. Kramer,” “Fatal Attraction” and “The Accused,” died on Monday at his home in Rancho Mirage, Calif. He was 84.

You just have to strap him in real good and make sure you start him at the top of a hill.

Probably not a name anyone remembers–but the event several do:

Oliver Miller, biggest NBA player ever (so the press claims), dies at 54:

Cancer again.

It appears I do not wholly guarantee that the persons on my list will live. Unfortunate loss, however. https://www.cnn.com/2025/03/13/politics/raul-grijalva-arizona-democrat-dies/index.html

Raul Grijalva was born 2/19/48 so died at age 77 meaning 23 pts.

He was 93.

Dang. The one year I take Alan Simpson off my list. And then this happens.

[Winkie voice]“You… you killed him.”[/Wv]

I would have lost good money betting he was dead already.
