Indeed, I felt I might have put the tiniest bit of bad juju on her. I hope not of course because she did a GREAT job on covering a role so well acted by Sally Kellerman in the movie version of “MASH”.

Helps that the later seasons, Margaret softens and obviously the brutality of the war and what she sees from the soldiers gets to her. Kind of like Charles. Starts out a pure American who supports the war…ends up realizing the whole thing is just hell.

I love that Hot Lips decides in the end…to leave the army and get a job in a regular civilian hospital. Goes against what her father raised her for, but she was just done with the military.
