Jane Pitt’s passing did make national (ABC) news, but I didn’t mention it here because of the “is she a celebrity” problem. She did accompany her son at award and other events, but is that enough? it doesn’t really matter since no one had her (I assume), and I’m not sure a similar situation will happen in the future – no one start listing “[insert celebrity]'s mother” in future lists!

Doubtful, since Tony Geary retired from the role years ago. OTOH, Laura would almost certainly be there in her capacity as Mayor of Port Charles.

I’ve been there since the initial runaway and the Ice Princess Affair, stayed through the Aztec Princess Adventure, and enjoyed the Robin/Casey space alien bruhaha. Those were the days. And yes, I watched when Robin appeared for the first time.
I was watching when Robin first appeared as well. I just read that they did some goodbye episodes for Robert and had him leaving with Holly.
My stepsister and I watched General Hospital as young teens, during that year when everyone was watching it. We pretended she was Laura because she had a crush on Luke, and I was Holly because I had a crush on Scorpio.
