2026 NBA Offseason [edited title]

He really thinks he can win another championship with them. I’m sure that is almost all the decision.

Philadelphia has a decent chance with this roster.

Depends on how Embid and Lebron hold up injury wise, both are dice rolls at this point. I don’t think Maxey and Jalen Brown are championship caliber without them. I’d put my money on San Antonio or OKC still, simply due to being younger and less injury prone. It does make a lot more sense than any of the other options, like Miami who would have had their top three players all be power forwards if they got him.

Draymond Green re-signed with the Warriors. 1 year, $27.7 million.

Lakers sold for $12 billion to investment group led by Josh Kushner (Jared’s brother) and Bob Iger.

I have only rooted for the Lakers when they played the Celtics in the NBA Finals.

I will not ever root for them again as long as these guys own the team.

Russell Westbrook has retired after a very successful career. He’ll be a first-ballot Hall of Famer, for sure.

Klay Thompson has been bought out by the Mavericks and is set to join Giannis on the Miami Heat.

I hope the Pistons have improved in the off season, but I haven’t seen any evidence of that. They completely blew the playoffs last year and that was a very good learning experience.

Trying to decide what game to take my son to this year. I’m tempted to do the Sixers. We saw Lebron last year on the Lakers(Pistons won*). Might want to see Stephen Curry play, though.

*That asterisks was to indicate they also held Lebron James to ZERO points in the first half, a pretty rare feat.

They might straight up just lose Duren.

Six-time All-Star DeMar DeRozan is going to sign a one-year deal with the Denver Nuggets.

It’s official. Klay Thompson, Miami Heat, 2 years, $11.5M.
