Misdirection – I’m thinking it won’t be Meredith, although in that case I’m not sure what that little shady-sounding phone call at the end of the first hour was about. Maybe the “person close to Hassan” is the disgruntled wife.
I’m going to guess that Disgruntled Wife is trying to frame Meredith Reed with the whole IP address thing – revenge for being her hubby’s mistress.
I think Meredith was set up by the bad guys. Remember, plots within plots.
Was she the actress who played a terrorist’s wife a few seasons ago?

Again, in the 24-verse, nobody from the middle east ever says the name of their own country. Hassan’s meeting at the start with the Pres – it was always “my country” and “your country”…
