Turkish commandos crossed 3-4 km (1.9 to 2.5 miles) into northern Iraq in pursuit of the rebels following the attacks in Cukurca and Yuksekova districts of Hakkari province, military sources said. At least 16 soldiers were also wounded in the attacks.

Note the bolded. Now think: what would happen if Israeli commandos crossed 3-4km into Lebanon, Jordan or Egypt in pursuit of terrorists. UN and lots of other condemnations, I am sure, including, no doubt, one from Turkey. Obama expressing “regret”, I am sure. etc etc. General brouhaha for at least a couple of weeks.
On the other hand, watch as this non-story fails to unfold.
