So, there are weird, blobby, germy things in the coke machine?
Yuck.
Bud Light: Gorillas are so stupid. King of the jungle, my ass!
Bud Light: gorillas . That was cute.
Revlon: uh, yeah. Hair color on tour, Cheryl Crow opens for it.
i enjoy the office war fare.
ohhhhhh, lions!!!
Careerbuilder: that was as funny as the first one.
Taco Bell: funny, too. I didn’t know lions could roll their "R"s.
Van Heusen: Liked the visuals. Interesting take by running the action backward.
Lions are so stupid. Ricardo Montleban’s best friend my ass! (Was that really him doing the VO?)
I’ve liked the Coke commercials, but it’s weird that they are reusing old ones. I’ve seen both the GTA and the Rube Goldberg vending machine commercials at the theater since at least the summer.
I think the careerbuilder ones are my favorites so far. That kind of humor (implausible situations taken to an extreme) appeals to me.
I was hoping that the lions would attack the folks on safari for their Taco Bell. (Be a great Far Side reference if one of them had mentioned something about a salad.)
He’s done ads for them before, so I’d say it was likely. Guess he’s not getting any royalties from the Fantasy Island DVDs.
Where the heck is Pepsi? Was that Coke employee who was trying to sell the formula to Pepsi successful- and ended up with Pepsi’s ad budget?
Fucking Robert Goulet!
Toyota: cool.
Emerald: I’ll bet Robert Goulet had fun making that commercial.
T-mobile: redeemed at the end with that great lookfrom, um, shoot, I can’t think of his name right now.
I didn’t know the Coke vending machine ad had aired before. I recind my “good spot” award (a pre-aired spot does not count as a Super Bowl spot) and give it to Emerald Nuts. At my supermarket, sometimes my register is unkempt when I come back from my lunch. I guess I have an explanation now- it’s Robert Goulet’s fault. I should have suspected him.
That FexEd Ground spot is pretty funny, too.
FedEx: ok. We all have those types in one combination or another at work.
Nationwide: funny, could have been better w/o K-Fed
Bud Light: good, not as good as the previous ones.
FedEx comes through! “Mr. Turkey Neck”
Federline is pretty good, too, but I’d already seen it.
I think the local cable company is removing commercials. Each break only has one “new” commercial, and all the others are ones I see regularly. Also what makes me think this is that there are local commercials aired and I have been watching since the start and some of the commercials on IFilm were not showed during any of the breaks.
Kind of a rip off.
Thank God. Pepsi is notorious for having the shittiest commercials. I’m glad to not see the stupid fucking Pepsi machine racing against Reggie Bush or whatever.
Nationwide’s KFed commercial makes much more sense than the Fabio commercial.
Emerald Nuts - very nice.
We’re getting local/network commercials at the end of the 3rd quarter here, rather than “Super Bowl” type commercials.
