Would also say Firefly+Serenity and Buffy; but if you’re not inot that kind of thing, The Westwing is brilliant (especially the first 3 seasons).
Bizarre is an understatement. AFAIK Lexx stands alone in Bizarreness, and the last season when they’re living on Earth is hilariously bizarre.
Myself, I’d watch Northern Exposure, or Married With Children. Plenty there for a four day weekend! I enjoyed Carnivale, speaking of bizarre, that was two seasons on HBO.
That’s on my xmas list, along with Deadwood.
Burn Notice is a welcome throwback to the old school Rockford-type caper show. Uncomplicated, pure entertainment. Last season there was a Cagney & Lacey reunion show- “Cagney” is the hero’s mom and Tyne Daly was a guest.
Lots of great suggestions. Thanks a bunch!
So I’ve decided on Deadwood and Eli Stone for this weekend.
But there are alot of great suggestions and I have a list to work with going forward. I’ve also decided to watch wonder falls as soon as possible.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
It seems like someone from IO9 has been stealing article ideas from the SDMB this week. 10 tv series that you can watch in one weekend instead of shopping
Oz and six feet under back to back as they were intended.
