That’s right, folks… I’m using the occasion of Post #4000 to reflect a little. Also, I’m using it to invite any of you in the area to my birthday party if you’d like to come.

I’ve gained some good friends here. Ice Wolf, lel, LeeJam, Kal, Washte (hope everything goes well with baby), Steve Wright, Akatsukami, Aesiron, Cruktar, jackelope, TheLoadedDog, Fionn, Tuckerfan… the list could go on, but I’m getting rather sleepy and wouldn’t want to omit someone inadvertently. You all mean something special to me, and I’m honored to be your friend. 
There are a few people who I’d like to talk to / email (more often?), but somehow I never get around to doing that. Orange Skinner, Mudshark, LindyHopper, RTFirefly, Polycarp, MsRobyn, FairyChatMom, kambuckta… yup, this list could go on as well. I’ve enjoyed talking to you / emailing you… or in the cases where I haven’t, I’ve enjoyed your posts and such.
Mikie: if you get fired for playing Text Twist at work, you’ll have to understand the complex immigration rules first if you want to live with me afterwards!

I’ve learned a lot of stuff about the board in my time here. This is a good community of people, and the people make this work to be more than just a message board. There’s a lot about human nature on this board, a lot of life that goes on, and a lot of venting too. We have gay / lesbian people, straight people, people from all kinds of backgrounds… each person is a fiber in this rich mini-society of ours.
I could say more, but it would likely be long and pointless rambling. Suffice to say that most of you are good people in my book.
