42/100 of America beieves we are in End Times

Ask the Seventh-Day Adventists.

And that is an End Times prediction how precisely? I’m missing the biblical quotes. To me it is a warning that the biosphere will collapse if we continue as we are, which may or may not come to pass depending on what we do.

It implies that human life will end in fifty-odd years unless we fund their organization, which is pretty much a secular end-times scenario.

Just in the interest of fairness, I’ve never seen evidence that William Miller lied, but was rather self-deluded, and at least had the good sense to end the date-setting after the second Great Disappointment.

I’d even give the benefit of the doubt RE “lying” to Charles Taze Russell, tho he did not have the good sense of Miller. His successors in JW leadership, especially Judge Rutherford, I do not give the benefit of the doubt to.
