Dopers - I have tried to Google this, and tried a number of things. I would love nothing more than to find out the issue is obvious and bone-headed.
Situation:
-
Setting up a Home theater with a surround sound set of speakers.
-
For the rear speakers, using a Rocketfish RF-WHTIB Wireless rear speaker system. Have set one up in another system which has worked fine for years.

I set it up. When I turn on the Sender first, then the Receiver, they “mate”/connect correctly and sound comes out the speakers. Yay. This happens consistently when I power them up in sequence.
-
After a few minutes, they lose the connection, as evidenced by the sound cutting and their “link” lights starting to blink - both Sender and Receiver.
-
In troubleshooting, I have tried to get them to Pair by holding the Connect button on one until it blinks rapidly - indicating it is ready to be paired. This has NOT worked - only powering them down and up in sequence.
-
I have tried moving them closer temporarily so there is nothing between them; I have also tried plugging the Receiver into different outlets, in case something is up. So far, no change.
Dopers - am I missing anything??? It drives me nuts that they DO connect and function, then lose the connection. What is that indicative of? I can’t Google effectively enough to take that into consideration…
