5-letter game

This is similar to Dolores Reborn’s game but with two important differences:

  1. Obviously, both words must be five letters long,
  2. Unfortunately, due to the increased difficulty, you must first go through your proposed chain yourself to make sure is is possible. Since there are many more four-letter words than five-letter words that are very similar, this wasn’t reallly necessary in Dolores’ thread.

Example:
HANGS>NOOSE

HANGS
bangs
banks
bonks
books
boots
boats

Okay I’ll leave the puzzle open again.
NEXT time I’ll post a new puzzle too. (IF I find the solution that is).

Wow, a lot of time went by and there are still no new puzzles?
Well, I had the time to make a new one.
