A name that I haven’t seen, and it came to me after my first post was FairyChatMom.
I don’t know about most famous, but when I think of sensible, responsible, intelligent, and fun people on this board, she comes to mind. I would add her to my list.

Wow, my name never comes up in threads like this. (I still do vanity searches, though!) I think my post count is a lot lower than the other names mentioned.
I have been around for a while, and just realized that many people I consider “big names” are no longer active. Some were famous for being obnoxious and were eventually banned, others simply stopped posting or at least no longer post as much as they once did. Of currently active posters, the five most recognizable names I can think of are Guinastasia, Scylla (he’s still back, right? He was a big poster, then gone, then back again), tomndebb (now a Mod!), AHunter3, and Biggirl.
It’s interesting to see what different circles people travel in. In no particular order:

Scylla- Funny. Funny as all get out.
Fenris- a fellow Heinlein fan, and general sci-fi dude!
Jack Dean Tyler- The hot button topic when I first showed up.
Opal/Opalcat- A prolific poster whom was on top of her game when I first came around.
Chronos- if only because I knew he was living in the same place where the woman who became my wife was living. Hehee…

lieu, because every thread he starts has me in tears. (yes, I like poop humor)
reeder, mostly because of the amazingly shrill and sometimes incoherent rants he posts on a regular basis.
And, rounding out the back end, I’d have to say **Esprix **and either **Scylla **or Fenris, because of the great threads they started, and the sheer volume of interesting stuff they had to say.
