60 Minutes story on modern art?

About ten or fifteen years ago, I saw a story on 60 Minutes about a husband-and-wife couple who had amassed a multi-million dollar collection of modern art and were donating it to the Smithsonian Insitution. The thing was they were only middle-class and had acquired the collection over decades, partly by befriending some artists early in their careers.

Does anyone remember the name of the couple or have additional information on their collection?

Dorothy and Herbert Vogel? That links to a press release, here’s a chattier article about the couple.

From the chatty one:

They donated to the National Gallery of Art.

Thank you. I was trying to remember their names for the last day or so.
