60 Minutes story on modern art?

About ten or fifteen years ago, I saw a story on 60 Minutes about a husband-and-wife couple who had amassed a multi-million dollar collection of modern art and were donating it to the Smithsonian Insitution. The thing was they were only middle-class and had acquired the collection over decades, partly by befriending some artists early in their careers.

Does anyone remember the name of the couple or have additional information on their collection?

The classic story of contemporary art collectors is that of Herbert and Dorothy Vogel, a decidedly middle class Manhattan couple who have been avidly collecting the most avant-garde art of their time for the past 35 years. Herbert is a retired postal clerk who made at the most $16,000 a year. Dorothy is a librarian.

They donated to the National Gallery of Art.
