I vaguely remember people talking about a musical soap opera for teens which was on the air in the daytime in the mid-to-late 1960s. It seemed to have the Dick Clark stable of stars: Freddie Cannon, Gloria Loring, Stevie Wonder and others.
What was its name? Is there any information on it? Any related websites?

I tried all those names in the IMDb: Dick Clark, Freddy Cannon, Gloria Loring, and Stevie Wonder. I didn’t find anything even close to the description. I think someone you talked to is confused.
OK, I called an oldies radio station near here and posed the same question. Had four people call in.
One said it was called: “For Those Who Think Young.” One said it was: “The Young Ones.” One said she thought it was the same as some cut on a Dave Clark Five album, but was unsure of just what cut. One said she had no idea what the answer was but she thought I had a cute voice (That really has nothing to do with the subject at hand, but I don’t get compliments like that everyday).
All, however, agreed there was such a television show. Two said it was on three times a week and one thought it was on twice a week. One said she thought it was a daily program.
They also said that the stars I mentioned were featured musical performers. They weren’t regulars. They would come on the program for a couple of days do two or three numbers. Occasionally they would have minor or bit parts but regular “young” actors seemed to handle those responsibilities.
Three said it was located in a teen club/cafe on the beach.
Does any of this information spark anything?

What you’re looking for may be “Where the Action Is”. Dick Clark produced and Paul Revere and the Raiders were the house act. Lots of what passed for hijinks at various locations, including Malibu Beach for the summer.
If Freddie ‘Boom Boom’ Cannon wasn’t on, I bet it wasn’t from lack of trying.
O.K., I remember What the Action Is. I wouldn’t remotely describe it as a soap opera though. It was just a rock and roll variety show. Two very similar shows that were on network TV about the same time were Hullabaloo and Shindig!. There may have been clever sketch-like introductions of the artists by the host, but there certainly wasn’t any continuing plot. I remember finding these series all to be very neat at the time. (Hey, I was 12 years old, it was not long after the Beatles first came to the U.S., and rock and roll on TV was a big thing.)
Aaaaaaahhhhhhh! I meant Where the Action Is.
Thanks Wendell. I had forgotten “Shindig” entirely, and could only come up with “Hootenanny” for “Hullabaloo”, whcih explains why I couldn’t find it.
There IS a movie called FOR THOSE WHO THINK YOUNG-1964. With a host of favorite actors.
