80s TV show - Kids make and recieve wishes

Does anyone recall the name of this show? It could well have been Canadian produced, as this is where I know for certain that it aired. Kids submitted some manner of application about something they’d like to do (but either because of either lack of funds, or the unique nature of the request–spending a day with a celeb maybe–could not do it on their own). The show made the arrangements and then filmed whatever the adventure was.

Any recollections?

Now then, now then, now then!

In the UK we used to have Jim’ll Fix It, which fits that description. Or perhaps you adapted your own version?

I remember it. On Saturday mornings IIRC. The version I saw was home grown, not a import.
Dammed if I can recall the name.

Jim’ll Fix It definitely fits the description, but was not the one that I can oh-so-vaguely recall. I don’t know that I remember it being in the midst of Saturday morning cartoons, but it may well have been!

If it’s a Canadian show, I’d put money on it being Thrill of a Lifetime.

That’s it!! JimmyFlair, how did you become the smartest person in the world, ever?? Nicely done, and thank you!

Woo Hoo! “Smartest person in the world, ever”? You’re making me blush!
I have no idea why, but I remember very vividly the girl who wanted to be in a Platinum Blonde video. If that doesn’t scream “mid '80s Canadian TV aimed at young uns”, what does?
