What will we call 9/11/01 in history. “The events of 9/11” is kinda wordy. “WTC Day” does not roll off the tounge, plus it ignores the Pentagon. I saw “Black Tuesday”, but “Black XXX” is getting as old as adding the suffix “gate” to any scandal in politics.
Was Pearl Harbor Day called that since 1941, or did it take some time to decide on a name?
9/11 works, but I don’t really like it.

As I said there, I think the September 11th terrorist attack should be called “The September 11th Terrorist Attack”. If that’s too long, how about “The WTC Attack”. Not as catchy as “Attack on America”, but more specific.
Sorry, I didn’t search cause I figured WTC et al would get about a million hits. Looks like my question is well answered there.
