It has always been very public knowledge that the Bush administration had their thumbs firmly in their asses in regards to counter terrorism before 9/11. It is well known that they were getting warnings on a weekly basis up to and including in the Presidential Daily Brief that said “HEY GUYS TERRORIST ATTACK COMING SOON! PLANES AND SHIT!” It is established fact that if the alphabet soup agencies had been willing to talk to one another there would probably be nineteen wannabe hijackers in jail right now.
But the Bush administration letting it happen does not equal the Bush administration making it happen. I wish people knew the difference.
The evidence as to WHY WTC 7 would be demolished has never been shown to make any sense.
And since I imagine this hit and run poster will actually at least be skimming the thread I offer him this advice:
We have seen 9/11 conspiracy threads before. Every angle of the attack has been discussed ad nauseum over and over again. One thing is always missing from the conspiracy theory side and that is logic and reason. CTers come in, make a statement that they don’t even try to defend, hurl insults about how dumb we all are for believe the government’s obvious lies and then leave. How is that supposed to convince anyone? Has anyone ever convinced you of anything by treating you that way?
If it’s so obvious it should be easy to explain. So if you can bring in a fresh angle on how and why WTC 7 was demolished on purpose by Larry Silverstein (rather than by being hit by flaming chunks of the 110 story building next to it that just fell down) that doesn’t involve UFOs, the Illuminati, fictional pipelines in Afghanistan or cabals of evil Jews… let’s see that evidence.

If WTC7 was a controlled demolition, it was a pretty uncontrolled controlled demolition, in light of the collateral and significant damage to Fiterman Hall, across Barclay street to the north. Fiterman Hall had to be torn down, is being replaced by a new building.
Well they weren’t so silly as to make it appear too controlled. They carefully ensured that it was just sufficiently untidy as to make it indistinguishable from an uncontrolled demolition. Actually, the clearly uncontrolled-seeming nature of the demolition, precisely calibrated to fool any expert into thinking it was uncontrolled, is far too “convenient” to be credible. It is the very fact that the demolition shows so clearly that it was uncontrolled that shows that it was, actually, controlled.

Everybody knows that the 9/11 demolition was the last step in the coverup of the Kennedy assassination. All the Kennedys, going back to Joe Jr. in WWII. That’s why they used exploding planes – kind of a retro tribute to the original assassins.

Anecdote that should not be an accurate assessment of the engineering program at the Illinois Institute of Technology: A co-worker who had received his engineering degree from IIT was incensed that another engineer had used the blackboard to lay out an elaborate proof which concluded that an engineering degree from IIT = 0. That, of course, is not my opinion, though there are some clunkers with 2.0 GPAs who would still be degreed engineers. Just sayin’, is all.
