Randy “Big Unit” Johnson’s heater, down in Spring Training, gets confused with some food by a big white dove, or maybe Randy has got his control down really well and is going to have the Cy young wrapped up my the All Star game. Either way that puppy just exploded!
Jim Rome spent about an hour talking about it yesterday 
The thing that was funny about it was that everyone was amused…except for the lest sensitive-appearing person in the stadium : Randy Johnson 
Yeah, Jim Rome’s rant was pretty funny. For those who missed it, he was saying stuff like…
“The bird should have got up, spit out pieces of broken beak, dusted himself off, and flown down to first base.”
“I’m surprised the bird didn’t get all pissed and charge the mound.”
“Later, Randy Johnson changed his name. He is now known only as Unit, The Pitcher Formerly Known As Randy Johnson. He’s got a new song called When Doves Die.”

Oh man, I just saw the video and I laughed my head off - It was great!
It reminded me of the time my brother hit a bird with the front end of his car moving at about 50mph.
I never laughed as hard as when I saw the cloud of feathers “poof” out from behind the car.
