I notice you’re not educated enough to spot the flaws in the video that was posted… the last leg of the trip being based on speculation, and besides that, most of Obama’s debt obligations were inherited from the wars and financial mess his predecessor left behind. I do like the way he tries to say “WITH A DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS” after the Reagan and Bush years, as if the debt had nothing to do with Bush’s wars; presumably it was all those immunization and school lunches.
The picture in my mind is more of middle America. The people you’d see at a PTA meeting. As for as the black Tea Partiers, I think it wold be hard to argue that they are not, on average, more educated than blacks generally. Would you agree with that. I mean while there are, and I’ve seen, ignorant, uneducated Tea Partiers, I can’t recall seeing one that was black. (Ignorant and uneducated, that is.)
Stop your whining, wouldya. Bush took office just after the dot-com bubble burst. Things were horrible. Enron, Worldcom, and a bunch of companies had valuations go to zero. And those were the types of stocks held by many pension funds. Newsflash: every President inherits stuff. Even some bad stuff. But Obama wanted the job. Thought he was man enough for it. He duped you. Suck it up. As far as the film, what you’re proven here is that the old adage: “you can lead a horse to water, but can’t make him drink it” refers just as well to asses and information.
You really have no idea what’s going on. There is a complex web of deceit that you think is the world, but it’s only a lacing of the lies your right-wing hate-radio and FOX News have woven together for you.
Obama has increased the deficit far, far less than Bush has. The drivers for the deficit now are:
The wars. They cost money and this needs to be spent.
The recession. A country earns less money through taxes in a recession. Look it up.
The recession. A country must spend more money during a recession, like unemployment insurance.
The Bush Tax Cuts. Which Obama wanted to repeal (partially) but the Republican congress held that treaty with Russia and unemployment insurance hostage.
And all the stuff that cost money before.
If you think Obama is driving up the deficit anywhere near as much as Bush… or that it has anything to do with his policies, you’re a fucking idiot.
I was using fact and data, the emotionbot I was talking to was using… um… liberal wives tales? Certainly no facts. And my cite was from a lib-friendly source.
Obamacare hasn’t even kicked in, so any claim about “driving off the cliff” is pure partisan speculation at this point. I think it will reduce medical costs and health insurance premiums, leading to unparalleled growth; but, like your doomsaying, we shall have to wait to see who is right. Fortunately, SCOTUS will uphold the law, Republicans will strike out in 2012 and Obamacare will become the law of the land.
The CBO says the Affordable Care Act will save us 125 billion in the first ten years and perhaps as much as 1.2 trillion over the next (which is based on assumptions, but we don’t have crystal balls).
Smashy thinks it will drive up the deficit because he’s gullible and listens without question to the nonsense his masters on the right chant at him.
His budget is not ‘speculation’… it’s the non-partisan estimate of what we’ll get if we keep up Obama’s nonsense. You must understand this, don’t you?
The cost is a trillion dollars over 10, and that’s after a lot of gimmicks (especially not counting the first 4 years and assuming Medicare chops that nobody who has a brain believes will happen).
Will SCOTUS uphold this unconstitutional mockery? I doubt it, but you’re right, we’ll see. And America, who’s still against this bad boy, will likely send another message next year at the ballot box.
Bricker is smarter than you, more conservative than you and more knowledgeable than you about this subject. And he thinks it’s constitutional. Why do you assume that in your ignorance you know better than he does?
