Crank Callers. Why do low brow morning DJs insist on this stuff?
Ugh. When he and Mo Collins basically took over the show (once Sasso and Borstien left) it went totally to hell.
Was Stuart ever funny? No.
McDonald can do a great evil creep. Gary Condit, John Ramsey and the like.
But funny? Never.

Wasn’t Chris Parnell fired from SNL about 3 or 4 years ago but Will Farrell got him rehired?
With Dave Chappelle - On the surface his schtick is all “White people is CRAZAAAY” but really it is “I’m black in America… white America makes no fing sense to me. Let me describe it to you.”
The best example is that old HBO special where Billy Crystal went to Moscow and did jokes about how he didn’t understand the way things were done in Russia. He’s not making fun of the russians, he’s describing their world from an ousider’s perspective.
MAD is never funny UNLESS Stephanie Weir is doing something. She’s bone-ass hilarious.

Mike Myers isn’t funny? He is a genius .
On SNL, yes.
Well, I’ve only seen him in *The Fifth Element * and Rush Hour. In both of those he was so annoying I wanted to hit him with the stupid stick and yell, “Not Funny!”.
No, but in the movie Pauly Shore Is Dead, it was priceless how Shore has to move out of his house because he can no longer afford it, and the new owner is Carrot Top.
“Not Funny!” is what he’s all about. His standup sucked, too. The screechy voice is way more than I can handle.
I also loved in “Strip Mall” when he got killed in the chinese restaurant and was served up as Carrot Top Kung Pao
How how this thread gotten this far without mentioning Kevin Nealon?
Kevin Nealon is great. I will not be privy to such blasphemy.
I would also like to add that Kathy, the cartoon strip, deserves a spot on here. It angers me.
Cite?

Well played, Mr. Blue Sky, well played.
I cite a stand-up routine I saw some flu-ridden evening on Comedy Central. He’s got his own style, his own delivery, and I find it fairly amusing. I’m not gonna pitch a tent on the sidewalk to go to his next show or anything, but he doesn’t deserve to be lumped in with the other jackanapes on this list.
Gahhh, seconded on Larry the Cable Guy. Creepy isn’t funny, OK, Larry? I didn’t laugh when I watched Deliverance, I’m not going to laugh watching you.
Liam Neeson, to be exact.
I’ll give you Bob Hope, but have you ever actually seen Jack Benny or Henny Youngman? They were geniuses!
As far as old-timers, I’ll throw out (literally!) Stepin Fetchit, Jerry Lewis, The Ritz Brothers, Wheeler & Woolsey, Cass Daley, as comics I Just. Don’t Get.
I don’t like Mike Myers because I hate mugging, acting cute all the time, being the annoying drama queen kid everyone went to high school with who was always dying for attention in any form possible. I think Shrek is way overrated, I hate Austin Powers and the insipid catch-phrases those movies inspired, I hate Wayne’s World, Simon drawing in his bathtub, Dieter from Sprockets, stupid Scottish voice, and the fact that everyone thinks he is some damn genius. Being “on” all the time, whether you have anything funny or witty to say or not, is not funny or witty. Just ask Robin Williams, who I have similar problems with.
BBVL: Thank you for reminding me of Robin Williams, who, if he doesn’t start abusing drugs again soon, should remain in some dank pit somewhere.
I, too saw that and it didn’t change my opinion. I have a slight grudge against him because he was tapped to replace Norm MacDonald on Weekend Update.
Yes, I know that a lot of people don’t think Norm’s funny, either, but I like him.
Back to the OP:
Colin Quinn is probably one of the most not funniest people to ever appear on TV.
