A "Breakthrough" story. Are there others?

Yeah, baby. It is a miracle drug. I take it very seldom-- these days maybe 3X per month. I don’t want the magic to wear off. And it is magic. The .5 mg tablet is plenty.

It sucks large duck eggs, fer shure.

I did a quick search and found this. You said your distress was some time after your vaccination. Yesterday I read on City Data Forum someone said almost exactly what you said. I’ll see if I can locate the post.
This Janssen adverse report didn’t mention breakthrough + distress.

That study is interesting, but not, I think, relevant. My anxiety event (which didn’t include syncope) was almost six months after the vaccination.

I think (as far as I can tell) that it was much more likely related to the infection than the vaccination.

I still looking. It’s a huge forum. I can’t find anything when I’m looking for it. You were probably stressed out. Take care…

Here’s a CDC Covid discussion forum for everyone.

National Forum on COVID-19

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/forum/index.html

That’s not actually a discussion forum in the sense of the SDMB, it was a three day forum of experts to discuss vaccination dissemination strategies that was held in March. I’m having a hard time finding anything there relevant to this thread.

Can you link to the section that you think is pertinent?

Why are you still looking?

My wife has been feeling pretty crappy the last couple days. I suspect Covid, she doesn’t think so. Besides the stuffy nose and cough, she has had intestinal issues too, going to the bathroom 4 or 5 times a day. She is scheduled for a mammogram today, she called the doctor yesterday and they are going to do a Covid test before she will be allow in the clinic. I really haven’t done anything to protect myself, I figure might as well get it and get over it. I already have my 3rd shot scheduled for early October after I turn 65. My wife would like to get the 3rd shot but probably won’t qualify till the end of the year. We also have to stay away from her 90 year old father, even though he is vaccinated, catching Covid would be a bad thing for him.
