My cat Pudding (obligatory picture) is spotted with white and brown. The brown is not stripey tabby brown, but solid chocolate brown. It is slightly paler around her rump and legs, and very dark on her tail and ears. Her eyes are (well, eye is) blue. She is quite a large cat–not heavy, but with a big frame.
Can anyone speculate about what her “pedigree” could be? Siamese? Ragdoll? Can you exclude any possibilities?
She also looks black and white rather than brown and white to me as well. Given she lacks points, I don’t think I’d consider Ragdoll, Himalayan, or any of the 'eses. I’m no expert, but to me she looks the most like an American shorthair. As you can see, they’re notall patterned and some even have blue eyes.
In that case, with the blue eyes and the brown coloring that looks a little like the Siamese seal point and her larger size, I’d go for her having some ragdoll, especially if she has the personality you usually see with them.
ETA: I don’t think she’s a pureblood. But she could certainly be a mix and you don’t have to have all the qualities of a breed to be a mix.
Your cat is a Kitler and you should enroll her on this site:
Based on that pic, she has a very good shot at the highly coveted ‘Best Kitler’ award. And if you could teach her to hold her right paw up in the air or goosestep, she’d be a shoo-in.
It’s not quite utterly random, as the piebald trait does seem to express itself in a particular pattern, spreading along the underside of a cat, upwards. But it’s mostly random.
Anyway I think your cat looks less like a kitler, than someone tried to make a kitler with a magic marker and then sneezed at the finale :D.
