Andrew to Buffy and Xander, explaining why he should be untied in “Bring on the Night.”
And I re-offer: “Ah, yes, there is little that can distract the Willow when she’s on the hunt for the mighty syllabi.”

Xander to Buffy in Selfless.
“Destroyer of the Universe. Guess cutting school doesn’t seem so bad now, huh?”
Dawn to Buffy in Spiral
“He was walking away, so unless his soul was in his ass…”
The ass in question is R.J.'s.
Anya has just announced that she saw R.J.'s soul, and thus it’s reasonable to be in love with him. This was Willow’s rejoinder. “Him.”
Generally speaking, when scary things get scared? Not good.
Um, gonna guess Ethan to Giles in “A New Man.”
Assuming that’s correct, “You want to be enemies? Try me.”
No, way. Bricker’s is a Xander quote. I think it’s from the one where Buffy comes back from running away, and they throw a party in her honor, but are all secretly still pissed at her. Yours is Angel to Kate is an earlyish episode of Angel … maybe season 1?
Did anyone else feel too tall? I felt way too tall.
I hope that hasn’t been used already. Actually, I hope I haven’t used it already!
I think this was said by Riley in Superstar, comparing himself to the diminutive superstar in question, Jonathan.
Oh yeah, I need a quote.
“This was me favorite shirt. This was me only shirt!”
That was Kendra - - when her shirt gets torn - - I think she says it to herself…
and I’ve eushed headlong in without a quote of my own… ummm…
how about…
You were my Yoda!
Spike to Angel, “School Hard.”
“Did anybody order an apocolypse?”
It’s Glory to the gang. I’m moderately certain it’s “Tough Love”
If I’m right (I’ll be suprised) heres a new one:
"That is wrong. A big, fat, spanking wrong. It’s a slap in the face to every one of us who studied hard and worked long hours to earn our D’s. "
Xander to Willow/Buffy Giles in “Go Fish”
referencing Willow being asked to pass a swimmer who is failing computer class
my quote…
I’m standing right here
probably
Buffy to Dracula, who is trying to rematerialize after being slain.
My dad tried to sell me to some Armenians once.
(I’m 25% Armenian, but my family wasn’t among the buyers.)
Xander to Buffy in Inca Mummy Girl
“Was it a boy demon?”
Willow to Buffy, who’s stressing about what “aspect of the demon” she may end up with in Earshot.
“Five.” (followed by a shrug)
I love that one! It’s Willow and Tara to the Watcher’s Council representative in “Checkpoint”.
“So what do we know about it, other than it’s fortressy and demony?”
Angel to Wesley before he goes into Skip’s dimension the first time so he can release the guy in the fire box. Second or Third season.
Go to Hell!
Been there, done that.
First line: Kate to Angel, speaking metaphorically. Second line: Angel, speaking literally. Hence, the irony. Ha, ha. I didn’t watch Angel nearly as faithfully as BtVS. What ever happened to Kate?
To read makes our speaking English good.
After her father was killed she got bitter and disillusioned and decided to leave L.A. and police work for a better life, never to be seen again (until she popped up as the assistant district attorney on Law & Order). I for one certainly didn’t miss her.
Big_Norse missed a few datapoints. Actually, IMO, Kate’s story arc ended in a very powerful bit of television (IMO, one of Angel’s brightest spots), so I recommend that anyone who hasn’t seen it do so rather than read the following. (Of course, I always liked Kate.)
This all happens in the middle of the second season. Kate and Angel’s relationship has been a cool one since he failed to save her dad in S1. Meanwhile, because of some things W&H has done in the first part of S2, Angel has sunk into a violent depression, has abandoned his friends and Angel Investigations, and at one point locked a roomful of W&H employees – humans – in with Darla and Drusila as revenge. He does check up on his former friends sometimes, though, and at one point he sees them being menaced by a bunch of zombie cops. He enlists Kate’s help to figure this out and they eventually confront the police captain that’s to blame.
In the next episode, Angel continues not giving a crap about the world. Unfortunately for Kate, the police captain from the last episode makes up a bunch of stories and gets her fired. She too sinks into depression and takes pills which she washes down with booze. As she drifts into unconsciousness she calls Angel’s answering machine and leaves a message in lieu of a suicide note.
Angel hears the message but doesn’t do anything about it. Then, for reasons I won’t go into (but it’s good TV), Angel has an epiphany and rededicates himself to helping people. He remembers what Kate is doing so he rushes to her apartment and bursts in to find her lying unconscious on the floor. Nonetheless, he drags her into a cold shower and manages to bring her back.
Later, after she’s recovered, Kate tells Angel she has to get out of the town where everything’s gone so wrong for her. Then she says that his arrival kind of renewed her faith, because he managed to get in to save her even though she’d never invited him in. They part friends, and that’s the last we see of her.
