is this the scene? if so, Dru’s line is “a shadow”:
as for “Sorry Angel, I got nothing”
this
is from Awakening
I’d have to say, your memory is a little faulty.

Hi there!
Yes, that quoted section was the scene… I watched it again just to make sure and I’m sure Dru says “No shadow” but I could be wrong. She does say it very quietly.
My quote is still in play if you’re interested… right character but wrong episode. I was thinking fifth season, not fourth.
I just watched it too, and I’m 92% sure she says “A Shadow” and the subtitles agree with me.
As for your quote, in season 5’s Shells Lorne says “Sorry, Angelcakes, I got nothing”
Since I’m not certain thats what you were thinking of, I’ll withhold my quote pending confirmation.
I think this is in several episodes (mostly, I hear Willow saying it in my head) so I’m going with Smile Time The main puppet (Pogo?) says it and then later Framkin, the shows creator / meat puppet says it to Gunn & Lorne
My quote is:
“Someone with that much body art is gonna have a different definition of civic duty.”
That’s the one I was thinking of. It’s a great Lorne moment.
new quote
I’m almost sure that’s Faith (in Buffy’s body) to Willow, assuring her that she wouldn’t let Faith hurt Willow (who doesn’t know it’s not Buffy) in Who Are You. Was that coherent?
“I like Helter Skelter.”
Adam to Spike in The Yoko Factor
my previous quote:
“Someone with that much body art is gonna have a different definition of civic duty.”
is still open, so I’ll leave it.
Hard to believe no one has gotten that last one… I knew it from the moment it was posted but I didn’t want to be bogarting the thread… But lest it die an undignified and untimely death, I shall answer. That quote is courtesy of Gunn in S4’s Awakening.
Next quote:
“Then we have a problem.”
Wesley to Angel in S4 Power Play.
Next quote:
“You know, I never thought to ask.”
Forrest responding to Adam’s command to kill Buffy in Primeval
As a point of interest the “Body art” quote above was actually Cordy to Wes in the 1st season’s Five by Five
And **Power Play ** was from season 5
The new quote is: “I don’t know what to tell you, Sam. I can’t kill on deferment. Sets a precedent.”
AHHH! Reading is hard!. Ignore my last post.
“You know, I never thought to ask.”
is still in play
