Noticing Epoch Times advertising on billboards all over Grand Rapids area. BetsQ funding for fundies everywhere
New thread:
Thanks! I just sent it to Seattle relatives.
There was so much talk of “They got rid of Russell, Pete’s next!”, that it’s believable up there.
I did follow it up a few minutes later with Happy 4/1…
Oops, wrong month’s mini-rants. Let’s not keep this going for weeks like we did with February’s…
Well, you’re just a day late, which seems appropriate given this thread’s title.
It’s a ‘leap post’.
I was born and raised in North Carolina, but it took me about a year after starting my current job to realize that I needed to purge my wardrobe of anything lighter than cobalt lest I have fellow employees shrieking about the NC State grad wearing Carolina blue.
I haven’t even changed the default voice on mine!
What is “yellow dust”, and is it different from regular dust?
Here is the Wiki article on Asian Dust. A couple of years ago, we had an Air Quality Index reading that was off the chart, literally. I think the public schools closed that day, but where I work is a private boarding school, so that meant we teachers still had to make it in.
VERY informative! Thank you!
An analysis of Asian Dust clouds conducted in China in 2001 found that they contain high concentrations of silicon (24–32%), aluminium (5.9–7.4%), calcium (6.2–12%), and iron. Numerous toxic substances were also found, including mercury and cadmium from coal burning.
People further from the source of the dust are more often exposed to nearly invisible, fine dust particles that they can unknowingly inhale deep into their lungs, as coarse dust is too big to be deeply inhaled.[5] After inhalation, these particles can cause long term scarring of lung tissue and induce cancer and lung disease.
That was over 20 years ago. Like most problems humans cause or exacerbate, I’m quite sure it has gotten even worse over time.
