Disclaimer: I’m in the process of reading through the rulebook for this game, so my working knowledge of it is fairly limited at the moment.
Fiasco is a roleplaying game with no DM. Rather, all of the players work together to write a collaborative story about a heist or caper that goes terribly, terribly wrong.
The link has a video of a session in action, which I also haven’t watched yet, but it seems to me like it might be fun to play this on the forum. There would probably have to be two threads - one for the collaborative parts, and then another where the finished “scenes” are written up. Alternately, players could meet in a chat using the Service of Choice, but I imagine that timing might be difficult.
An entire game is only supposed to take a few hours, so this seems well suited for the forum format.
The game can be played with 3-5 players. The book of course should be purchased from reputable publishers and should under **no circumstances **be found in corners of the internet where illegal things happen. I have access to a copy and would be willing to share information with players.
Any interest?
