A Google Map thing

It used to be, if I was looking at a Streetview, i could grab the image and move it around. Now when I do that the image “sticks” to the cursor. I can’t just move the image at little, let off the button, and grab the image at a different place. It’s kind of frustrating. Anybody know what I’m talking about?

Are you using a mouse or a touchpad? Sometimes the touchpad drivers have a “drag lock” feature that makes your cursor drag until you tap it again.

Google Maps still works the same way as before for me, on a mouse.

Mouse. I can drag the image ok, but it sticks to the cursor. Can’t think of any other way to describe it. I just went back to Streetview, and found it’s not a consistent thing- sometimes I can just drag and let go, and then drag again, and sometimes it does the sticking thing. It’s probably just me…

This happens to me sometimes in Opera. Extremely annoying. I click to zoom all the way in (and then out) and that usually fixes it.

Used to happen to me with the new Google Maps in Chrome, it was extremely annoying. It was fixed after a while though, so not sure why you are having that issue.

This isn’t a new thing. It has always had this issue intermittently. If anything, I have had less trouble this way since the switch to the new version of maps than I used to have.
