Outside is cold, dark and rainy, so unfortunately both risotto and pudding will have to wait until tomorrow because I’m missing key ingredients for both. I just don’t feel like going outside in this yucky weather (bad enough that I got caught in it on the way home). I think we’ll just do leftovers instead, and maybe some hot chocolate spiked with Starbucks liqueur for dessert, methinks.
Home in time for debate. Work was excruciating–very difficult pt (not a critically ill one–one that welll, long story short, wanted to act a fool).
Must work again tomorrow. She has piled more days on me. Need the money, but damn. Hope tomorrow is better for me (and everyone)

Howdy y’all! JoeDawg’s daddy and partner came over for dindin. I sent the rest of the death chicken home with 'em with instructions that JoeDawg is to have death bacon and rice with his dindin while he recovers from his surgery. Poor thing. He’ll need it to keep his strength up.
I can’t decide if I’m amused or disturbed by the fact that JoeDawg and I are both having Death Chikkie for dinner tonight. Though I bet my batch is better. Nyah nyah!
Yesterday and today have crawled by. I’m hoping tomorrow goes faster, because Saturday it’s supposed to be chilly and rainy and I don’t have to go to work, so it should be a good day to hang around my nice warm little house and continue to ignore the scrubbing the floors in the bathroom and kitchen really need.

The debate made my brain hurt. The Canadian one, that is… someone had the bright idea of broadcasting it at the exact same time as the American one, because god knows, it’s not like we’d be interested in American politics or anything. :rolleyes:

You live in Scotland, pretty much right smack-dab on the Castle Trail! Is there such a thing as a Year Pass to some bunch of historic landmarks? If you’re into such stuff (whether it’s history proper, or Knights-and-damsel stories, or Royals…), maybe that could be something you’d use. There have got to be times when you could visit without fighting all the tourists of the world for breathing room.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ here. I made it into work this mornin’ without major catastrophe. This is my last work at home day for a while and I really don’t have a whole lot to get done today. I had a huge pile o’ apps yesterday but I got through a whole bunch more than I thought I would, so that makes today lighter. YAY!!!

I didn’t watch the debate either. Didn’t watch the Presidential debate either. Won’t watch any of the upcomin’ ones to boot. I don’t like anybody this year. I’ll end up votin’ for the one I find least repulsive. Sad way to cast a vote ain’t it?
