Recently switched from Dawn to Palmolive (which is cheaper) and damn it, the Palmolive is better.
Started using Thermasilk shampoo and conditioner, and ya know what, my hair looks better. (I’m serious.) There’s some shine, it’s not so dry, and the gray is even less noticeable.
The VTech cordless phone (with caller I.D. in the handset) that I got from Crutchfield for Christmas does everything it’s supposed to. It’s the best cordless I’ve ever owned.
My Dell computer has been worry-free for this non-techie (except for the DVD player, which I screwed up on my own) for more than a year.
My Kenmore microwave is at least 15 years old and still looks and works like new.
Sometimes it’s the little things …
I’ve been looking for something to make my hair happier, and that’s the second Thermasilk endorsement I’ve seen today… guess it’s time to switch. I’m hesitant to give up my Herbal Essences, however… the positive response I get after using it is hard to give up.
Dell sells our top of the line speakers, so they’ve got to have some wits about them. 120 Watts of pure THX certified loving. Decent machines. Only minor problems with tech support playing tennis with callers.
I gotta tell you Auntie…I enjoy your posts. What a nice, light, warm post in the midst of all this hoopla.
I used to use safety-can, you know the can opener that opens cans without sharp edges? It was 19.95 and broke, like clockwork, every six months. I found a can opener, Good Cook is the brand, that does the same thing, costs 7.97, works easier, and never breaks. I’m a happy customer.

Hey MadPoet…with your luscious hair, stick with what you know works (giggle). (techick is secretly dying to have that hair all over her face < grin > )
Personally, I use Clairol Herbal Essences, BASIC soap for my face ( doesn’t dry my face out ) Lever 2000 for my bod, Loreal face cream and a few other Loreal cosmetics. I use Curel body lotion when I use a fragrance that is not in lotion form and well my beer is always Molson Ice.
and the Molson Ice is having it’s toll…
sheesh, must spell own name correctly TECHCHICK…
shoot me now?
