A hilarious Wikipedia entry

I was reading about country musician Jerry Jeff Walker on Wikipedia when I came across something quite bizarre. It took me a while to figure out that it was added by someone as a joke (and that Wikipedia can truly be modified by anybody.)

It’s in the Trivia section (scroll down the page.) See if you can find it.

Was it the part about singing We are the World?

Of course it is. Nobody likes that song anymore.

I know, I know! It’s a joke to say that he is “the Jimmy Buffet of Texas” because he’s nowhere near the same league as Jimmy!

(But man the finale of that festival can’t be missed!)

Hah! There is no way a Studebaker could make that trip.

Yeah, that’s what I thought at first, too. Then I said to myself: “We are the world?!? Come on.”.

The patron saint of honky tonks, purdy wimmin and Lone Star beer. Ah dew enjoy his shows, minus the gorilla porn.

C’mon, people…this should be obvious. The annual bash is held in San Antonio, not Austin! Sheesh…

I got it! I got it!

It says that his “Greatest Hits” was released in 1980, but then there are 24 years of albums after that.

Indeed. He blows Buffet out of the water. :stuck_out_tongue:
