I’ve had pretty good luck with using it for sleep, pain control, anxiety management, and some PTSD-related issues (basically suggesting clients can begin to forget to remember troublesome trigger memories). I studied with Michael Yapko, the author of Trancework, who could assist clients go through major surgery without anesthesia when need be. He was/is a truly great therapist (it looks from his website that he may be retired now). There have been some other applications I’ve utilized it for, as well, but they escape me now. I don’t use it a lot, and wouldn’t call myself experienced enough and utilizing it consistently enough to call myself primarily a hypnotherapist. It is an interesting and very useful tool, however.
