I copied all the text as it is (kept all the Arabic, Hebrew and English ) definition of the word.
Why would you think it is mine ???
I am not a source for such kind of information.
Iam an Egyptian who live in the region who speak the language of Arabic same as Lebanese and Syrians.
Syrians say this land is not ours , it is for Lebanon.
But Israel (funny) says it is for Syria ??? and keep occupying it !!!
I think Syria and Lebanon are the experts on knowing who the land belong to before Israel was created.
Any way it does not matter, Israel is occupying Syrian-Lebanese land.
It is not Syria and Lebanon who are arguing over it.
And Israel should stay out of it.
Criticism accepted. No hard feelings, and allow me to apologize for crossing the line in the first place.
Because Hezbollah claims responsibility for those attacks and brags about how many Israelis they killed?
Alright, alright. Closing the tangent.
Wrong. Israel has existed for centuries before Roman times. Palestine didn’t exist until right AFTER Roman times.
Sorry for tangent.
EDIT: Just to clear things up:
Zionism is not an insult. It’s the belief that the Jewish people should have a land of their own, wether in Israel or elsewhere. So kindly stop using it as an insult.
Again, Guy, open another thread if you’d like to discuss your interpretations of the situation and/or argue for the veracity of your non-subjective claims.
Back to this subject, I will point out the fictional nature of an earlier claim that was made; namely that Israel ‘destroyed’ the Sinai rather than improved it.
But you chose to post about it anyway and continue the hijack. THIS TOPIC BELONGS IN ANOTHER THREAD. That goes for you as well as Rich-Lazy-Guy or anyone else. Any further disputes in this thread will result in warnings for ignoring mod instructions. No one else is going to get the last word in here.
In the future, Rich-Lazy-Guy, if you’re going to quote from Wikipedia or any other source, please make it clear you are doing that. Otherwise it looks like you’re passing off the work of others as your own research and opinions.
Wow my colleague was busy last night buy the look of it.
The only thing I can add to this I think is this comment by Babale

Let’s look at this rationally, for a change. Who should get the right to name that particular contested bit of land, 20 million Jewish Christians, or 1 billion + Arabs and Muslims?
There’s nothing I can say that could budge you from that opinion, so why try? You seem to have this preconception that Jews can’t fight and that Arabs can. I hope you’re happy with the little world you’ve built.
Anyway, as **Marley **said, we really shouldn’t be deviating from the stated subject of the thread.
What are Jewish Christians? Ethnic Jews who have converted to Christianity? I don’t think there are 20 million of them in the world. Or do you just mean “Jews”?
Funny thing about these threads is they conlfate a lot of ideas about ethnicity, religion, nationality, and residence. Like, you can’t be a member of an ethnic group unless your ancestors were a member of that ethnic group. But this conflates ethnicity with ancestry. If you looked at a geneology of ethnic Englishmen, say, you’ll find a hodgepodge. And I’m not talking about going back to the middle ages and the Romans and the Angles and the Saxons and the Danes and the Normans. I’m talking about a few generations ago. What ethnicity is Queen Elizabeth? Is she English?
And of course, Americans conflate nationality with ethnicity all the time–if you were born in France, you’re French. Except if your Breton. Or German. Or Basque. And in 19th century Russia, there were plenty of people who were born in Russia and spoke Russian, but were not ethnically Russian.
Oh, and some more fact checking: The Egyptian military forces are actually less than 1/6 that size. Although there won’t be a war, it would be a very revealing study in the use and misuse of information if there was. The states that ‘stole land’ and prohibited the formation of a Palestinian state were Jordan, and Egypt. In fact, virtually all the territory today that’s being negotiated for as a future Palestinian state was occupied by either Jordan or Egypt.
The Merkava III is almost precisely equivalent to an M1 Abrams or Challenger 2 in terms of weight and mobility. All Western tanks are pretty similar in design, for the simple reason that there’s only so many ways to make a good tank.
…unless it has to do with Israel, then they’re an evil European plot and we might ethnically cleanse them via war some day. We are just serving as God’s editors, sometimes the Word gets misprinted.
Sure, I agree. Though in the Merkava’s case, it’s specifically designed to emphasize crew protection over other aspects, it has similar performance characteristics to the Abrams (I think the Challenger 2 is actually considered to be more mobile, but I could be wrong there). The difference is that the US can afford to field large Abram’s deployments in an offensive role because we have the logistics to support them (and vast sums of money as well). If the US wasn’t so rich or had such a huge logistics ability, however, then the Abrams would be more suited to short offensives or defensive wars…which is what limits Israel from rolling large numbers of their tanks outside of Israel in any kind of sustained offensive.
(BTW, the Egyptians have a number of Abrams themselves, though I don’t think they are the latest versions and aren’t as capable as US versions…and, of course, the Egyptians don’t have the logistics capabilities to support large deployments outside of Egypt either)
For convenience purposes, I am dividing the players into Muslims and Christians — Jews are definitely not members of the Muslim team, so I called them Jewish Christians. Would you be happier with Jewish Xtians? Or are you going with that whole “No! No! We are different.” schstick again?
