These pictures reminded me of moments from my childhood. I love the sleeping baby on the German Shepherd. I smile just thinking of that photo. The photographer did a great job showing the special bond between a dog and young child.

Apparently it’s a staged video done so they could record how the dogs reacted to the kid being threatened.
I don’t know how whether the dogs thought they were all just playing or what (though the dog barking in the woman’s face near the end is convincing) but I always like “dog protects human” stories.
The ones with the St. Bernard and the boy are by Elena Shumilova. The boy is hers (so is the dog actually). I highly recommend looking at more of her work. It’s beautiful.
There’s a link at the bottom with more photos of kids and large dogs. Its like these dogs think these kids are their puppies. They bond so closely with a very young child and will protect him. I’ve seen my Lab try and block my three year old daughter from sneaking outside. Daisy positioned herself between the door and my daughter. No way was she going outside that afternoon.
