A lesson for movie stars

Just because the public love seeing you in movies doesn’t mean they give a flying fuck about your political opinions and in fact your presence at political rallies, as Hillary’s last one, in all probability turns voters away in swathes rather than enthusing them for the candidate.

One of the sweetest things about this outcome has been the host of indignant tweets from movie stars and pop stars furious that people should ignore their advice.

Is this irony?

The diseased, American celebrity culture just took a giant orange dump on the world and you’re calling out movie stars? It would be even better if we didn’t have to suffer the opinions of a tax-cheating trust fund baby turned reality tv star.

Really? I think there are a large number of Americans who do give a shit what celebrities say. Young American girls care what Beyonce and Lena Dunham say. They’re successful women role models.

You don’t give a fuck I don’t give a fuck. Some people give fucks; if they didn’t, candidates wouldn’t bother to align with the Stars.

Keep in mind this is not unique to the Dems, as some would imply. Willy Robertson, Scott Baio (!!!), Antonio Sabato Jr. didn’t just tweet, they actually spoke at the RNC.

And let’s don’t forget Ted Nugent, King of the Crazies.

Can’t believe half the Avengers couldn’t keep Trump outta office. Can’t even look to superheroes anymore.

Jenny McCarthy.
