"A Little Mouse With Clogs On" Words?

Hey Coldfire, or anyone else: Do you know the words to this song? I heard it done once in a burlesque show in a London bar and really enjoyed it, but I wasn’t aware it was a “real” song. Now my best friend tells me of someone else referencing it in conversation, from a completely different source.

The only words I remember are as follows.

“I saw a mouse
Where?
There on the stair
Where on the stair?
Right there,
A little mouse with clogs on,
Going click click click click,
Click click click click on the stair”

But I get the feeling that’s the chorus. Any verses?

No verses. But I do know the Dutch version of the chorus, which you will now all sing out loud:

Ik zag een muis
Waar?
Daar op de trap
Waar op de trap?
Nou daar
Een kleine met een staartje
Nee 't is geen grap
Een muis met een staart op de trap.
Or something like that… it has been 15 years or so. Something of a nursery rime, not a very common one though.
