Though many Hoosiers do eat one another, it’s a figure of speech, not actual cannibalism. Indiana food is sweet corn and deep-fried breaded tenderloins. It’s home-grown tomatoes and inch-thick pork chops. For folks in Middletown, it’s fried mountain oysters, and they can have my share. It’s luscious, beautiful steaks with North Judson potatoes.
