I was flippping the channels today and noticed that Cartoon Network is have a all-Looney Tunes weekend. I caught the middle of a Bugs toon featuring a skinny brunette girl wearing big glasses as Red Riding Hood.
She would talk like this:
“Grandma, what a big nose for you…TO HAVE”
What is the referring to?
I’m convinced she’s a parody of a media figure from that era, but darned if I know who.
That’s “Little Red Riding Rabbit” (1944) and the voice is a parody of Cass Daley.

There’ve been a couple of threads about this with not completely satisfactory guesses. I tried searching but somehow I missed the BCDB. Maybe that info was a recent addition? (grasping at straws to avoid looking completely foolish)
In any event, thanks, Extraneous!
