The Simpsons Archive has had a page about this for years, but I’d never thought I’d actually hear it: the audio from a never-animated parody of old cartoons that was put into production by The Simpsons as part of a plan to piss off Matt Groening after a discussion regarding whether or not Hitler was funny. (Apparently, the only reason the bartender is a dog is because he hated that too). As one person on the Simpsons Archive puts it: “It wasn’t really that funny, just really weird and inside. Which is why it wisely never went outside.”
