I read an article a while back (last year?), in Navy Times I think, about a new Navy warship that was built with crew comfort very much in mind. Larger living areas with more spacious bunks, nicer mess areas, and much improved gyms are some of what I recall. It was a pretty big deal, and was quite controversial IIRC.
Now I can’t remember the name or the type of ship, and I’m trying to tell a coworker about it.
Any Navy folks, or fans, out there know which ship I’m talking about?

That would be the one, the USS San Antonio. I must have tried every other city in Texas. I served on the USS Ogden (LPD 5) back in the sixties.
