talk about a late money grab although I didn’t get the anthology maybe they’re using it to help fund making 7 and hopefully, it will be like 9.99.?
I have very fond memories of Civilization, although I haven’t played in years (since Civ III, maybe?). It got too complicated for me with all the additional systems and victory conditions – I just want to tech rush some nukes and give Gandhi a taste of his own medicine.
I’m interested. I haven’t had the spare time to sink into Civ for awhile (just…one…more…turn) but I might take a peek I like just playing with a random leader to see what I get.
I’m happy for everyone who is enjoying VI, and I might have to get the Rulers of England pack just to play as Varangian Harald Hardrada, but after a few wins in the “basic” version I just haven’t been able to get into any of the expansions and higher difficulty levels.
Me too but I am just not a fan of Civ VI. Civ V plus all DLC is the best Civ IMHO.
Civ VI…they made the game for consoles and not PCs and it suffers for it.
my problem is the “district” system and loyalty… but there’s a ton of stupid things they never fixed … like ok once you learn the first 2 or 3 sailing concepts you can send out units to explore the world and not need transports… but they gave them no way of defending themselves against barbarians and when you click auto-explore …
they’ll sail right into hostile ships so you lead them away from them and turn it back on when you think they’re safe and they’ll go right back to where they can get killed even if it takes 3 turns to do it and yes they do it on land also …
