A prodigal son has returned

  1. Over, unless feline vandalism necessitates extreme measures be employed.
  2. Yes, please and thank you.
  3. Across, back and forth

But most of all, I subscribe to Judge John Hodgman’s Settled Law: People like what they like.

  1. Over
  2. Mustard
  3. Across, I think. Did I miss a Great Debate over the years? I’ve never really thought about this and I don’t think I care much. I tend to cook corn on the cob in the husk on the coals of my grill, so there are sometimes little lines or spots that get a little caramelized, so I feel like I start there and then make a decision as to whether I eat the toasted spots all at once, or move in a direction (some might say a heretical or scandalous sort of pattern) that alternates sweet steamed fresh corn with sticky savory spots. Generally though – damn, I don’t know. Is this like a captcha or a Turing test of some kind? Am I just an LLM or a robot? Do I exist? What is even happening. This is like failing the Voight-Kampf…

Who robbed cavefish of their sight?
Who rigs every Oscar night?

Oh wow, I remember your name, and I went to KC Dopefests. I was on Skip’s board too!

Good to see you back.

I think I still have some pictures from one of those Dopefests. Not sure where, though…

So I am incriminated somewhere still?

I think you’ll find my blackmail amounts very competitive: at or slightly below market rates. Plus a 1.3% discount if you pay for a full year in advance.

Yeah, mom did. She noted that some of them were still in the original wrapper and hadn’t been opened or read, so she knew you weren’t interested in them.

If anybody has an inclination to revive this soiree, count me in.

Yes, yes, I’m retired now so I can come much more easily.

Or in Lawrence, or Topeka.

I’m in, no matter the location.
