a question about rape

I think you’re talking about “Too Close For Comfort” that starred Ted Knight and that idiot Jim J. Bullock.

That’s it, thanks!

For that matter (the Too Close for Comfort episode), there’s an episode of Taxi where Alex talks about how he was raped by his wife while handcuffed in a prison holding cell.
They didn’t use the word “rape” and it was intended more in humor than some social message, however he didn’t want to do it but couldn’t get away from her.

That’s the funniest thing I’ve read in quite a while.
Anyway, as was wondering the same thing as the OP a while back and I found stuff on the internet about 3 ways this can happen:
a) Through the use of… prosthesis,
b) Through forced arousal, such as during sleep, or arousing someone when they don’t want to be aroused,
c) Putting something into a guys anus, to push on the prostate which apparently causes an erection.

BTW, Ashtar as in the crazy UFO cult?

wow, can’t believe no one else has mentioned oral sex. the most obvious way a woman could rape a man would be to force him to perform oral sex on her. penil arousment wouldn’t be an issue.

Clumsily worded, yes–and I apologize for that. I’ve been in a bit of a rush lately trying to unpack and re-pack a lot of stuff. (Recently moved—twice. :P) and didn’t think long enough to make my argument as well as I should have.

And I think Grither answered his own question–I wasn’t equating homosexuality with depravity, if I intended to I would have used the word ‘and’ instead of ‘or’ in the argument.

I -am- gay (sorry, ladies!), so if you’d like a convenient excuse and apology rolled into one–there ya go. And when I say gay, I don’t mean ‘happy’, I mean it’s long, it’s wet, it’s throbbing, and I love it. :stuck_out_tongue:

Oh–and to answer nOmega’s question–I know about the weird UFO cult thingy you mentioned, but my screen name comes from an abbreviation of ‘Ash Tarquin’. My alias.

-Ashley (Who’s pondering looking up that weird cult thingy again just to see if it still exists.)

There’s also cases of diminished capacity, which in some states extends as far as drunkenness. In Pennsylvania, at least, if two people have sex while one is drunk, and the person who was drunk later (while sober) claims that the act was not consentual, then it’s considered rape, regardless of who was of which gender.
