A question as to the absense of 'All', e.g., " 1 2 All"

Wasn’t the feature (illustrated below in italics):
Lookit this big ball o’ lint I found! ( 1 2 3 4 All )
Sally Badden

that allowed a user to read a whole thread without regard to page divisions in the old version? If so, why was it disabled?

Has there been other requests than this one as to this?

I don’t recall there ever being an “all” option. It’s been 1,2,3,4,5,6…Last Page for as long as I can remember,

I’m with Berkut, I don’t recollect an “all.”

You’re probably remembering that in the past you could do that with the printable version of a thread. Last time I tried it with the corrent software, you get max 50 posts per page.

Whoops, sorry about that. I’m sure I was recollecting another board.

In any case, is that an option with vBulletin, and has there been other queries similar to mine? Just wonderin’.

Some of the threads on these boards are 7, 8, 12… pages long. It’d take an awful loooooooong time to load them with all the posts on one page.

If you have a fast enough connection, they load fairly quickly. Even on dial up I used to view all pages in the printer friendly format because it makes it easy to save the whole thread in one shot for later reference when not online.

Would it be difficult to bring that feature back?
