A question for antique collectors!

I have in my possession a presumed antique Belmont barber chair. I presume it is an antique because I cannot find any information on it what so ever. What makes is worse is that I cannot find a model number on the chair to inquire to anyone about it! I was on the Takara-Belmont (as the maker is now known) History website where they had the history of their barber chairs complete with model numbers and pictures…mine wasn’t on there. If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it!!

That’s not the best of presumptions, honestly.

Take it to a reputable antique dealer. Take it to more than one, and see what they say. That’s really the best way to determine if it’s valuable.

What do you want to know? Im not sure from your post what it is that you want to know.

If you search at http://www.google.com/
for ‘Belmont barber chair’ plenty of info shows up.
