A question for the ladies only...

How many ladies here like men who have hairy chests and hairy bodies?

I’m pretty furry

(The volume bodily hair though, is entirely a matter a personal preference for each individual to specify, on their own)

I’m not a fan of lots of body hair - especially when back hair runs right up the neck and merges with head hair, and beard hair is one with chest hair. I don’t want to risk hairballs. But I don’t like the completely hairless look either - body builders do nothing for me.

Not that I discriminate against any man because of his hairness… but my personal choice of studmuffin is neither fluffy nor slick.

Just a little suits me fine.

Entirely depends on the brain in the skull.

Why restrict the question to the ladies?

I personally don’t care for a lot of body hair. Underarm hair and pubic hair are OK, but I don’t miss chest hair if it’s missing. I fail to see the necessity of shaving your legs (besides the aerodynamic advantage much prized by athletes.) Beards are fine as long as they are accompanied by a mustache. Long sideburns or mutton chops look silly. Nose and ear hair should be kept well hidden.

Good point, Arnold! No wonder why they made you a moderator!

I personally prefer my ladies without chest hair, thank you very much!
:stuck_out_tongue:

Can’t stand it.

Hairy chests: a little hair is alright - like a snail trail from their bellybutton down, but I personally find excessive hair to be something of a turn-off.

Hairy bodies: not a big fan. Hair on the arms/legs/back/bum is just not my thing.

Having said that, I’m currently going out with - and have been for almost a year - a pretty hairy guy. He lets me shape his eyebrows, and this Winter, we’re going to shave his legs. ::squeal:: (My friends and I have already waxed two of his friends’ legs. They enjoyed the smoothness immensely)

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: nothin’ fires my spark plugs like a Hairy Beast Man!

Mmm… hairy chest, deelish! Hairy forearms, yay! Hairy back, neck, legs… oh, my yes. So caveman-like… so very primal.Oddly, the only thing I really don’t care for is facial hair.

Well, except for Fiver’s!

(And then there’s always that “I’ve-Been-On-A-Three-Day-Sex-And-Bourbon-Bender” Unshaven Bad Boy Scruffy Look, too. Yum!)

I likes me a furry man, but I do prefer a light covering to the Wookie look.

Heehee. Me too, though the Wookie look is OK by me too. One way or the other male body hair isn’t high on my attraciveness criteria. Though, I tend not to find beards real attractive.

Given the choice between a totally smooth guy & a Wookie guy, I’d take the Wookie.

A little chest hair and a treasure trail…

No back hair and please for the love of god trim the pubes! I do not like sticking my face in a brillo pad.

::thinks of someone in particular, smiles and goes to take cold shower::

if I could design my perfect man from the ground up, there would be very little body hair.

I like chest hair. Increases the friction!

I’m not a big fan of upper-lip hair, though chin-hair can be nice.

As for other body hair, I’d be a terrible hypocrite if I complained; I’m covered, completely, in a fine layer of blonde hair. My face, my earlobes, my stomach, everything except the soft pink parts is hairy.

I’ve dated hairy men, shaved men, and men with moderate hair and I must say, I prefer men with a little hair but not like an ape man. I like chest hair, happy trails, armpit hair, leg and arm hair and even a little butt hair is o.k., but hairy backs and necks are just gross to me. I also love facial hair. My SO had a goatee when we first met and now he has a full beard and I love it!! It’s so soft and kind of tickles… especially when he’s between my legs!! Makes me hot just thinkin’ about it!

Hmm. I never thought about it. I like to look at guy’s legs in the summer time. I think there is something freakish about a guy with bare legs. It’s nice to rub up against a little leg fur. A bare back is nice, but not absolutely necessary as long as it’s not too furry. Definitely has to have some chest hair but I wouldn’t want it to look like a carpet either. I only like beards that are very, very trimmed. I hate the bushy kind.

Inexplicably, this made my thights tighten and my pulse race. [sub]Whoa, girl.[/sub]

As to the OP, I lean toward the less-is-more camp (less hair=more groping, that is). Partly becuase it’s what I prefer visually (though not completely hairless like bodybuilders, etc.) and also because I don’t like kissin’ hairy bits.

mmm…fuzzies…
fuzzzies…

shiver Gotta love the fuzzies… Basic rule of thumb, if it would work on a sword wielding barbarian I’ll like it.

So a nice fuzzie overlayer without being fur, quite. And a scrufflie beard. (Scrufflies!!!)

mmmm…

I can’t believe so many women don’t like beards!

It’s been my life’s ambition to top both John Lennon and Jim Morrison in outrageously out of control beards, damned be my sexual success

I absolutely agree on this point. He’s got to have a brain and know how to use it! But, for aesthetic purposes, I can’t make up my mind if I prefer hairy men over smooth ones. I’ll have to do more empirical research and get back to you on it.

Ummm, a hairy chest makes me all warm and tingly inside.

A hairy butt, on the other hand, does not.

Nor does the lopsided, only hairy from the waist down look. Seriously, I dated a guy once that looked like he was wearing mohair pants…

al.

I’m no lady (and we’ll just gloss over the myriad things the wags here could do with that phrase), but I definitely find that fur makes my heart beat faster. Hairy legs, hairy arms, hairy chest, hairy stomach, hairy butt (mmmmmm…), that patch of hair just in the small of the back…

Hunh?! Oh…where was I? Fur! Yes, fur…facial fur…I like sexy stubble, goatees, mustaches. I’m not particularly fond of wild, scraggly, Hell’s Angels style beards, though.

But then, I’m a bear myself, and tend to gravitate to the same.
