A retro porn question (for stoid - I guess)

Do people ever fake antique porn to get whatever benefits the site provides for those who provide photos?

Are they often caught? What are some of things that get them caught? Digital watch from the 1920s? The wrong hairdos? Modern athletic shoes with the dark socks and zorro masks?

I would imagine seeing a tattoo of Spongebob Squarepants on someone’s ass would make me suspicious.

Damn, I thought they airbrushed that out.

We don’t accept scans, we only accept original photos (which we give back after we’ve scanned).

There are lots of people doing retro * homage * photography these days, since retro everything is gaining in popularity. A lot of it is very nice. And I guess if someone tried hard enough, they might be able to pass it off as original, but depending on the period they were trying to pass it off as, it would be hard.

Well, only if the fellow in the proposed photograph there was excited.

I have to ask-what’s the oldest piece of porn you’ve ever come across?

I seem to remember watching a documentary about sex (On HBO, I think) that showed a pornographic cartoon short from 1919. It starred a jolly little cartoonish fellow with an enormous…erm…gift. Probably the most bizarre bit of porno I’ve ever seen.

Oh wait, I just remembered some puppet porn I saw in a story on The Daily Show. That one took the cake.

I seem to have forgotten the point of this thread. Sorry.

I don’t know about Stoid, but the oldest piece of “porn” I’ve seen is an Ancient Egyptian papyrus that can been seen on this. Scroll down to Leisure and click on the Drink, Drugs and Sex link. It’s not the entire piece, but enough of it.

None, but some did get me feeling frisky.

It should be noted that the San Francisco International Film Festival is showing a compilation of French 20s hardcore pornography shorts later this month. Here’s more info.

I’m guessing Roaring Twenties-era shemale bondage porn is thin on the ground, huh?

Actually, not as much as you’d think. There isn’t that much new under the sun. Although I think bug crushing and furries are of relatively recent vintage.
