A Seinfeld Question

In what burrough of New York did George Costanza’s parents live? Did the show say explicitly or is it possible for New Yorkers to figure out?

They lived in Queens.

Thanks. And George, Jerry, and Elaine all lived in Manhattan, right? I remember Elaine made a comment once about having bought up every sponge in the “Upper West Side” so I assume they lived around there.

For a time George moved back in with his parents in Queens.

Jerry/Kramer and Elaine both lived on the upper west side, but I think George lived somewhere downtown when he shacked up with the chick he poisoned.

I love going to the country.

My wife has family in Queens and the Costantzas’ house is very obviously of that type. Seinfeld was a show that was about New York to a much greater extent than it seemed. For instance, there relly is a Soup Nazi (he hates the show, BTW), and I remember when the low-flow showerheads were mandated (I was at college in Central-State New York at the time).
