Well not really but it strike me as being a little odd. I was looking at Amazon when I came across the recent animated movie Space Dogs (I’m a fan of Cold War related stuff), on checking the American and European covers I noticed something odd.
As can be seen on the link below the American release has the ‘CCCP’ logo on the characters space helmets airbrushed out (how very Stalinesque). I can understand why they did it but would it really have that much of an impact on American sales in this day and age?

At least they don’t seem to have gone insane with power in true George Lucas fashion and removed all references to communism in the movie itself…
